Little Sunshine Preschool & Daycare has new owner

Little Sunshine Preschool & Daycare, located at Zion Lutheran Church in Imperial, has a new owner taking the helm.
Josie Bell of Imperial purchased the business from co-owners Jacci Paisley and Ashley Exum.
She plans to keep the current name and not make many changes at first.
“There are too many things changing right now, and you never know what’s going to be  required,” Bell said.
A tentative plan is in place to open the preschool in early September, although the daycare is open now, she said.
There will be five staff members to start, and they will be accepting children 18 months to 13 years.
“We will have preschool Monday through Friday, from 8 to 11 a.m. Day care will be the same days from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. as well as after-school care,” Bell said.
She will be completing her degrees in business administration in 2021 and elementary education in 2022, she said.
Bell is originally from Thornton, Colorado and is married to Brian Bell. She is the daughter-in-law of Jan and Rick Elliott.
