Lavender Market adds children’s boutique

Imperial will have a new stop for kids’ items at Lavender Littles—part of Lavender Market in Imperial at 1040 Court Street.
Ronee Kruger has had children’s items in her store since she opened in August 2018.
“There’s not a lot of options for kids’ items here,” Kruger said.
Part of the push for more children’s items was from grandparents in the area, but also from becoming a grandmother herself.
Items available at Lavender Littles include clothes, toys, books and more.
“I’m not going to get into the carseat and stroller game yet,” Kruger said.
Sizes available range from infant to child’s size 8.
“I’m working on getting more,” she said.
“I try really hard to get a lot of American-made things,” Kruger added. One brand she has was started on the TV show “Shark Tank.”
One of her biggest sellers is a three-layer muslin quilt.
“They were made by two moms that were frustrated with the quality of what they got,” Kruger said.
Other popular items include infant onesies with magnetic fasteners, quiet-open swaddle blankets and warming stuffed animals.

Stop in at open house
Lavender Market is hosting its annual Christmas Open House next Thursday, Nov. 7, from 12 noon to 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served and door prizes awarded.
Also at the open house will be the official introduction of Lavender Littles, she said.
