Lamar family starts truck repair business

Brian and Lynn Prosser of Lamar are now owners of a truck repair shop.
Pro-Truck LLC, owned by Brian and Lynn Prosser and managed by their son, Tom, opened shop in February.
The new business, specializing in medium to heavy-duty truck repairs, is located at 31502 744 Rd in Lamar.
“Anything bumper to bumper on it, we can repair it,” Brian said.
Tom, a 2011 Chase County Schools graduate, has been doing mechanic work “for the last several years,” Brian said.
“Just over the years of running my own trucks (for the farm), it’s just something that we kind of had to learn to do,” he added.
Lynn runs the office for the new business, while Brian is “in and out,” either on the farm or helping his son on repairs.
They use Mitchell 1 Truck for online diagnostic tools and Diesel Laptop for on-site computer diagnostics and code reading.
