Imperial, Perkins County FFA chapters prep for 10th annual Pink Out games

While they may be rivals on the basketball court, players and fans in Chase and Perkins counties will join forces for a good cause this week.
The 2019-2020 basketball season marks the 10th year the Imperial and Perkins County FFA chapters have teamed up to raise money to help area cancer patients.
The 10th annual Pink Out games between Chase County and Perkins County will take place in Grant tonight (Thursday).
T-shirts are still available for sale from any Imperial FFA member.
Shirts are $12 and can be purchased between 7:30 and 8 a.m. or over lunch at the school.
“They’ll also be sold at the game,” Imperial FFA senior officer Morayah Cupp said.
Funds raised will go to cancer funds at Chase County Community Hospital and Perkins County Health Services.
“Money from that goes toward, not so much treatments, but more like hotel rooms and things like that,” Cupp said.
Pink Out games will tip off at 5 p.m. in Grant at the new high school gym.
