The 92nd National FFA Convention and Expo will take place from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2 in Indianapolis.
A number from the Imperial  FFA chapter will be in attendance.
The parliamentary procedure team—which took first place at the Nebraska State FFA Convention in April—is the only team competing.
The team consists of Valerie Herbert, Brooklyn Christensen, Jozie Schilke, Alexis Richmond, Lindsey Mendenhall and Courtney Odens.
Morayah Cupp will also be at nationals in the talent contest. Cupp took part in the same contest last year, with her talent being singing.
Kayla Schilke and Emma Ferguson will be receiving their American degrees, which is the highest award an FFA member can get.
Delegates from the CCS chapter include Kaden Schilke, Kambree Meeske, Jordan Jablonski, Markenna Terryberry, Kendall Prior, Remington Yaw, Morel Jurado, Jesse Krausnick and Ansley Maronde.
Carissa Hill was first place at the state convention for her supervised agricultural experience (SAE) in Agricultural Processing. After state, Hill received a silver, which did not advance her as a national finalist.
Hill’s SAE was for the Goat Girls Farm she operates with her sister. The girls make soaps and caramels from the goat milk, which can be purchased at Hill’s Family Foods in Imperial.
