Early Christmas shopping opportunity coming Saturday

The SWNE Crafters and Entrepreneurs for home-based businesses will be holding their annual Christmas shopping event this Saturday.
Over 20 vendors will have their booths set up at the city gym from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. displaying a diverse assortment of items.
There will be handmade crafts, baked goods, essential oils, jewelry, metal works, wood crafts, jams and jellies and crocheted items, just to name a few.
Latte Da will be on site providing food and coffee for purchase.
Each vendor will donate an item for a gift basket.
Every time a purchase is made, the purchaser’s name will be placed in a box for a drawing for the gift basket.
The drawing will take place at 2 p.m. and the winner need not be present, said Gayla Mayden, event organizer.
“Funds collected from vendors for the rental of the space goes back into the community to sponsor charitable needs,” said Cindy Hudson, SWNE member.
“We also plan to ‘adopt a family’ to help out at Christmas time,” Mayden added.
The next SWNE event will be the Spring Fling in March.
