County building to host open house

Although the Chase County building on East Fifth Street has been open since the first week of May, an open house will be held on Friday.
“We want anyone who has not visited us yet to know where we are,” said Debbie Kuenning, Unit Leader and 4-H/Youth Extension Educator.
The open house will be Friday from 9 to 11 a.m.
“Come eat a cookie and tour the new building,” Kuenning said.
Bids were accepted for the new building in June 2017, with the final estimate of the building at $73,368.
The county building currently houses veterans services, Chase County Transit, Health and Human Services and the UNL Extension Office.
