CCS bank seeking more depositors

Chase County Schools’ student savings project opened with a “school bank” Feb. 14 in conjunction with Adams Bank & Trust.
The school bank was started to teach students how to save early in their life and hopefully form a habit that will last a lifetime, said Sandy O’Neil, FBLA advisor, whose student organization is working with the program.
Students can open a savings account and Adams Bank & Trust will match their first deposit up to $5.
The bank is open for business at the school Wednesday mornings from 7:45 to 8 a.m.
