Area operators receive motor grader training

Motor grader operators from area counties, including Chase, attended training April 2-3 conducted by LTAP employees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
LTAP, or Local Technical Assistance Program, has been in place since 1982 to help with transportation technology and technical assistance to rural and local governments.
LTAP Training Program Coordinator Brian Jackson led the two-day course, which included classroom training as well as hands-on training.
Thirty-one operators from Chase, Dundy, Perkins, Keith, Hayes and Hitchcock Counties attended the training, as well as four commissioners from the area.
Area county commissioners including Jacci Brown and Dennis Kunnemann, both from Chase County, and one each from Perkins and Dundy Counties.
