‘Virtual’ calf purchase will help Cattlemen’s Ball fundraising

The holidays are here, and while many are decorating trees, planning family celebrations and buying the perfect presents, others are battling for their lives due to cancer.
Since buying the perfect gift can be a daunting task, why not invest in a calf to round up a cure for cancer?
The 2019 Cattlemen’s Ball allows people the opportunity to “virtually” purchase a calf right now with a $1,000 donation or feed a calf with a $600 donation.
Hosts Derek and Allison Sandman of Wauneta and Wayne and Chris Krausnick of Imperial are encouraging area residents to purchase a Calf-for-a-Cure.
While some may not know anything about raising or feeding a calf, they can help in the efforts to find a cure for cancer.
