Where are all the honorable ones?

I get a headache thinking about it.

As I watched and read about our two leading U.S. presidential candidates facing eyebrow-raising issues this week, I just have to wonder—Where are all the honorable candidates who would seek our nation’s highest office?
While Donald Trump was not found guilty of the rape charge made by E. Jean Carroll, he was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, Republicans in Congress began to lay out what a congressional committee has found in the Joe Biden family business dealings that point to an alleged $10 million the family has received from foreign governments.
Can’t you just hear how the campaigns will go if these two really face each other again in a presidential race? It gives me a severe headache.
Even though he hasn’t announced a run yet, I said a year ago my pick for the Republican nomination for President is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Looking at the rest of the prospective field, he’s still the best choice as the GOP candidate. On the Democratic side, good luck.
Unfortunately, everyone has closet skeletons the other side is certainly researching. I wish both campaigns would focus on the candidate’s merits instead of working to discover any dirt they can dig up—but that’s wishful thinking.
Those campaign researchers certainly have a lot of bad stuff to use on the two leading candidates.
