Kent H. Goddard

    Kent H. Goddard, 66, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Jan. 24, 2017 in Melbourne, Fla. He was born on Sept. 29, 1950 to Jess and Marjorie Goddard in Imperial. He attended Imperial Grade School and graduated from Chase County High School in 1968. He received training for heating and air conditioning from Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte. He worked for PanAm airlines as a heating and air conditioner technician. He worked for many other companies doing heating and air conditioning work that took him overseas.
    In his later years he had his own heating and air conditioning business in Tampa. In the last few years he had a gyrocopter. He attended shows all around the country.  Through these shows he met many new friends. He got great enjoyment out of flying.
    He is survived by brother Gregg (Darlene) of Omaha; nephew Garry (Stacy) Goddard and children Jessica and Creighton; niece Teena Keslar and children Alyssa and Isaac; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
