The 2024 CCS Prom Court has been nominated. The public is invited to attend the promenade on Saturday, March 16 starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym at CCS. Note the change in location due to the installation of new bleachers in the Longhorn Gym. The promenade will be live streamed on the CCS web page under “Livestream Links.” Following the promenade at 7 p.m., the prom attendees will have a dinner & dance at Broken Arrows Winery. This year’s prom theme is “Wander into Wonderland.” After the dance, the Junior and Senior parents are hosting a “Post Prom Party” at CCS with sponsorships from numerous businesses and individuals.
The Chase County Commissioners held its regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 8 a.m. Several issues were brought before the Commissioners.
Beginning with the primary election on May 14, voters must now present a valid form of ID. Governor Pillen put this new law into effect on June 1st, 2023.
The Chase County speech team was challenged by a different format at Saturday’s Maxwell Invite.
