The Imperial Manor’s annual Easter Egg hunt was a hit on March 29. Kids were divided into different age groups that each had their own area to search for eggs. A Peep’s bunny was also there to take pictures with.

Imperial Manor’s annual Easter egg hunt provided fun for all ages

Despite the typical Nebraska wind and a slight chill in the air, plenty of kids were on hand for the annual Imperial Manor/Parkview Heights Easter Egg hunt on Friday, March 29. Prior to the hunt, residents helped to fill almost 300 eggs. Activities Director Tammy Freeman said, “While it was chilly outside, the residents watched through windows and saw the kids running around and grabbing eggs left and right.”
There were several areas divided by age in order to allow everyone to find some success. Prizes included ice cream coupons, prizes from a prize table as well as money. The Easter Bunny was also on hand to take pictures with the kids as well as a bright yellow Peep’s bunny.
Tammy Freeman said that the turnout was great and everyone enjoyed getting to spend some time with the kids.
There was also an Easter Egg hunt set up for the IMPH staff. This was divided into age groups as well which Freeman said made for “a very interesting hunt for the participants.” Staff received gift certificates, candy and other goodies from local businesses. This was hailed as a great team-building exercise.
Anyone wishing to volunteer for or sponsor next year’s hunt can contact Tammy Freeman at Imperial Manor/Parkview Heights.
