Thirty-four in SPVA honor band, choir

    Last week’s newspaper featured photos from the junior high SPVA Conference band and choir held in Imperial Jan. 31.
    The band and choir that featured students in grades 7-8 from all seven SPVA schools included 34 from Chase County Schools selected by their directors.
    Clinicians for the day were Sheila Johnson of Grant, band, and Dr. Brett Epperson of Hastings College, choir.
    Here are the CCS students selected for the 2023 SPVA honor band and choir:
