Auditions for MCT’s production of Peter and Wendy were successful on Monday. 72 students from Wauneta and Imperial auditioned.

MCT’s Peter and Wendy coming to Imperial this weekend

When Captain Hook sends his right-hand man Smee on a quest to capture Peter Pan, it’s seemingly business as usual…at first.  Little does Hook realize what fantastic adventures await him and his pirate posse in their search for the elusive Peter Pan.
Auditions and first rehearsal were held Monday for the Missoula Children’s Theater production of Peter and Wendy. Seventy-two students in grades Kindergarten through tenth grade from Wauneta and Imperial tried out. The local cast features Lily Hill as Peter Pan and Kiara Castro as Peter’s Shadow. Playing Tinker Bell is Harlow Konecky.
Simon Leibbrandt, Booker Vlasin, Austin Pursley, Joel Adle, John Adle, Christopher Welsh, Peja Anderson, Brooklynn Lampmann, and Trypp Stamen portray the Lost Kids. Jocelyn Siemers is Wendy Darling. John and Michael Darling are Harvey Fanning and Caidyn Lampmann. Mr. and Mrs. Darling are Cruz Kimble and Avery Cyboron with Hayden Fowler and Lexi Ringleman as Nana and Liza.
The notorious Captain Hook is Zariah Carman. Taylor Fortkamp, Jason Fortkamp, Hadley Amen, Bennett Smith, Emma Stanley, Maria Adle, Violet Sinclair, ChristaBella Thomas, and Gina Murillo are his Pirate crew.
Quinn Spady is TigerLily.  Lexi Stanley, Lily Kuenning, Ginny Siverson, Alyssa Weiss, Reece Malone, and Ansley McDonald are the Neverlanders, with Leah Lambert, Tristyn Lampmann, Lilli Brinkema, Harper Way, Milliana May, and Ellany Pankonin as the Neverland Creatures. The Croc will be played by Rosalee Jenkins, and Heidi Johnson will be Petey.
Flying their way to Neverland as clouds are Claire Leibbrandt, Leighton Cravey, Eudora Adle, Alex Fortkamp, Otto Vlasin, Quinn Clark, Karalyn Pankonin, Eliza Fanning, Amelia Rusk, Josie Sauder, Delaney Weiss, Veda Greene, and Kiana Stamen.  
Serving as Assistant Directors are Loralie Greene, Bernadette Greene, Jaxsen Villarreal, and Danyelle Carlson.
PETER AND WENDY will be presented at 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 26 and 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Chase County Schools Auditorium. Tickets are a suggested donation of $10 adult/$5 child at the door, which will go toward the cost of bringing this show to our area.
