CCS 5-8 March concert held

On Tuesday, March 26, the CCS auditorium was filled with music supplied by performances from the 5-8 grade bands, the fifth and sixth grade choirs and the 7/8 grade show choir. The fifth grade choir started the night with three songs, followed by two songs from the sixth grade choir. That was followed by three songs from the fifth grade band and five songs from the sixth. The seventh grade band followed, with their final number being Chesapeake March by Q. Hilliard & C. Elledge. The song featured the piccolo/flute section, pictured above, consisting of, Lila Maria, Addy and Avery C. After the eighth grade band played three songs, the combined seventh and eighth grade show choir, 74 students strong, performed two numbers. Due to installation of the new bleachers in the gym, this show was in the auditorium where there was not ample room for all of the show choir participants to participate in the dancing during the numbers.
