The Chase County softball team lost doubleheaders with Holyoke and Southern Valley/Alma last week.
The Longhorns hosted Holyoke for its first home game of the season Aug. 29.

Huskers sweep Omaha in front of record crowd

The Nebraska volleyball team delighted a crowd of more than 92,000 by never trailing during a 3-0 sweep of Omaha on Wednesday night in an outdoor match at Memorial Stadium.
