Adam Spady, 35, of Imperial died Monday night at home after a long battle with cancer.
A private family service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Imperial with Nathan Raffaeli, officiating.
A graveside committal for the public will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Imperial Mount Hope Cemetery with a reception and luncheon following at the 4-H Building on the Chase County Fairgrounds.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been set up to establish an ongoing scholarship for a graduating senior that plans to continue on in education.
Visitation will be held on Thursday at the Bullock-Long Funeral Home in Grant from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. . The casket will be closed on Friday. Bullock-Long Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
