Clair Duysen - May 08, 2014

Clair E. Duysen was born March 16, 1926 in Imperial, Neb. to Ralph and Luella (Kliest) Duysen.
He worked for the State of Nebraska, the Nebraska Game and Parks and the Chase County Department of Roads, where he was mostly a maintainer operator. He enjoyed time spent hunting and woodworking. Later in life, he enjoyed taking part in the many activities that the Imperial Manor Nursing Home had to offer.
Clair passed away Thursday evening, May 1, 2014, at the Chase County Community Hospital, Imperial. He was 88 years of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Robert Duysen and two sisters Patricia Einspahr and Betty Terry.
Survivors include brother-in-law Don Einspahr of McCook, Neb., numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Clair Duysen was held May 6, 2014, at the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial with Pastor David Kahle officiating.
Interment followed at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial
A memorial has been established to the Imperial Manor Nursing Home (Activities Department).
