Debra Kay Donnell - October 17, 2013


Debra Kay Donnell, age 59, of Lincoln, passed away Oct. 12, 2013, with her family by her side. She was born April 25, 1954 in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was raised in Imperial, Neb.
Deb graduated high school at Chase County High School. She then went on to obtain her BS in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration at Kearney State College.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and great friend. She lived a beautiful life that, despite her blindness, always saw the bright colors in everyone and everything that surrounded her.
She was active in her church at Living Word Fellowship and enjoyed being with her family and friends. Deb was an amazing and Godly woman who was an angel long before she passed on to be with The Lord.
Deb is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Einspahr.
She is survived by her son, Darrick and daughter-in-law, Kasey, along with two granddaughters, Alaina and Kailey Donnell, all of Olathe, Kan. and her soul mate, Steve Bennett of Lincoln, Neb.
Celebration of life service was held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Interment was held on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Chase Cemetery in Imperial, Neb.
Memorials may be left to the family or to the Living Word Fellowship of Church in Lincoln.
