Stanley Kent Pribbeno - December 20, 2012
Stanley Kent Pribbeno was born Feb. 26, 1937, in Imperial, Neb. to Stanley and Gladyce (Brady) Pribbeno.
Kent attended school in Imperial and graduated from Chase County High School in 1954.
He married Donita Holscher in Imperial on Oct. 30, 1955. It was in Imperial where they raised their four children and enjoyed watching their 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren grow.
Kent was the owner and operator of Kent Pribbeno Construction from the early 1970s up until the time of his death. Kent was an avid lover of sports, including fishing, hunting and golf.
Kent passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Neb. at the age of 75.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Logan Bauman.
Survivors include wife of 57 years, Donita Pribbeno; sons, Michael Pribbeno and wife, Jana, and Douglas Pribbeno and wife, Tracy, all of Imperial; daughters, Ann Smith and husband, Mike, of Imperial and Karla Bauman and husband, Andy, of Parker, Colo.; grandchildren Lindsey (Matt) Teply, Zeb (Kate) Smith, Kaitlyn and Trea Smith, Matthew (Kassie) Pribbeno, Nathan and Thomas Pribbeno, Leslie (Tino) Chavez, Tyler Pribbeno, Alyse Bauman; great grandchildren, Tate and Edisyn Teply, Ethan and Madelyn Clermont and Evelyn Smith; sisters, Scharlie (Gaylord) Faubion of Lakewood, Colo. and Jackie Claus of Imperial; numerous nieces and nephews and good friends.
Services were held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Imperial with Pastor David Kahle officiating.
Pallbearers were his grandchildren and honorary pallbearers were his great grandchildren.
A private inurnment will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial at a later date.
Liewer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
