Leland DeHart - August 09, 2012

Leland Milford DeHart of Wauneta, Neb. was born Jan. 15, 1918, at Yuma, Colo., to Floyd H. and Nellie E. (Frazell) DeHart and passed away Monday morning, July 30, 2012, at the Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial. He was 94 years of age.
Survivors include daughter, Ruth DeHart of Spokane, Wash.; daughter, Ledene Clapp and husband, Steve, of McCook, Neb.; one granddaughter, Josette McConville and husband, Justin, of Kearney, Neb.; two great-grandchildren, Brodie and Lexie McConville; sisters, Irene Wright and husband, Loran, of Palisade, Neb, Joan Church of Fort Collins, Colo.; many nieces and nephews.
Leland was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Glendene; siblings, Merle, Marvin and Mason; sister-in-law, Phyllis Shafer; and brother-in-law and best friend, Bill Louch.
Memorial services for Leland DeHart were held Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at the United Methodist Church of Wauneta, with Pastor Bonnie McCord officiating.
Inurnment followed at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta. Neb.
A memorial has been established to the Wauneta Senior Center.
Liewer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
