Mary Loeffler - June 28, 2012


Mary Pauline Loeffler was born on Dec. 10, 1952, to Olen and Glenda Rowley Loeffler in Imperial, Neb.
She attended school at the Imperial Schools and received her GED in 1974.
In July of 1970 she married Don Lee of Madrid, Neb. To this union four children were born: Doug, Monica, Dustin and Michael.
Following her divorce she moved to Denver, Colo. and worked as a photographer.
In 1993 Mary moved back to the Imperial area and worked as a store clerk at T-Junction and Kwik Stop. She later became employed as a nurse’s aide. Due to declining health, she was forced to retire.
She was an active member of both the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Imperial Eagles Club Auxiliary. Her computer was also a great hobby; she enjoyed forwarding emails and sharing jokes with people.
She was preceded in death by her father, Olen Loeffler; grandparents, George and Wilma Rowley, Frank Loeffler and Julia Brown; uncles, Darrell, Bob, Gail and Grover Rowley; and aunts Gwendolyn Harris, Gladys Loeffler and Hazel McAllister.
Mary is survived by her mother, Glenda Loeffler of North Platte, Neb.; son, Doug Lee and wife, Kim of Grant’s Pass, Ore.; daughter, Monica Peterson and fiancé, Dan Boone, of Benkelman, Neb.; son, Dustin Lee and wife, Denise of Berlin, German; and son, Michael Lee and wife, Stacy, of Madrid, Neb.; brother, Alex Loeffler and wife, Mary Ann, of Roseland, Neb.; and sister, Aurelia Redden and husband, David, of North Platte, Neb.; grandchildren, Maddison Lee, Michael and Rebekkah Peterson, Alicia, Keisha and Zeke Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside inurnment services for Mary Loeffler were held Friday morning, June 22, 2012, 10 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial, Neb., with Randy Hayes officiating.
A memorial has been established in Mary’s memory
