Stan Smith - March 19, 2009

Stan Smith, longtime resident of Champion, Neb., passed away early Tuesday morning, March 17, 2009, at the Imperial Manor Nursing Home, Imperial. He was 89 years of age.
Survivors include son, Jim and wife, Marla, of Ogallala, Neb.; son, Bill and wife, Cindy, of Max, Neb.; son, Larry and wife, Debbie, of Blue Springs, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and sister, Maudy Isley, of Lincoln, Neb.
Memorial services for Stan Smith will be Saturday, March 21, 2009, 10 a.m. at the Champion Community Center, Champion, Neb. with Mitch and Cindy Korf officiating.
Inurnment will be at the Lake­view Cemetery, Champion, Neb. at a later date.
A memorial has been established to the Champion Community Center.
No visitation, Stan’s wishes were the donation of his body to the Nebraska State Anatomical Board at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Neb.
