Betty Lou Vobora - November 17, 2011

Betty Lou Vobora was born on March 15, 1935 in Grant, Neb. to Harry and Thema Waters and died Oct. 19, 2011.
Betty married Stanley Vobora in April 1962 in Reno, Nev.
In 2006 they moved from Gaston to Grants Pass. She enjoyed their farm in Gaston, ceramics and spending time with her family and friends.
Her parents and her brother, Kermit Waters, preceded her in death.
In addition to her husband survivors include three children: son, Tory Vobora of Grants Pass., Ore., daughter, Pepper Scholtz of Salem, Ore. and daughter, Toni Hoodenpyl of Gaston, Ore.; brother, Bernard Waters of Ocala, Fla.; two sisters, Deloris Samples of Red Oak, Iowa and Loneta Gardner of Osmond, Neb.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Celebration of life service was held Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Fuiten, Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home in Forest Grove, Ore.

A reception followed at the Gaston Fire Hall, 102 East Main Street, Gaston, Ore.
