William Jeffries - May 26, 2011

William Jeffries, longtime resident of Wauneta and Chase County Veterans Officer, passed away Sunday evening, May 22, 2011, at the Imperial Manor Nursing Home, Imperial.
Survivors include son, Dan of Wauneta, Neb.; daughter, Kathy Crabbs and husband, William, of Littleton, Colo.; sister, Nellie Rose Bishop and husband, John, of Gilbert, Ariz.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Dale Bischoff, of Wauneta, Neb.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Bill Jeffries will be held Friday morning, May 27, 2011, 10:30 a.m. (MT) at the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Wauneta with Pastor Greg Stuckwisch officiating.
No visitation, Bill chose cremation.
Private family inurnment at Riverside Cemetery will occur before services.
A memorial has been established to the Wauneta American Legion Post # 304.
