Everett C. Cook - March 31, 2011

Everett C. Cook, 85, of Toppenish, Wash., died Friday, March 25, 2011, following a stroke.
He was born in Imperial, Neb. He served during World War II. He was a cattle rancher in the Yakima Valley for more than 50 years and was a teacher, coach and counselor at Toppenish High School.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Cook; two sons, Byron Cheney and Clifford Cheney; three daughters, Karen Gulley, Sue Burton and Judy Fortenberry; a brother, Eldon Cook; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, at the Colonial Funeral Home in Toppenish with burial following at the Zillah Cemetery.
