Ervin Kitt - January 25, 2009

Ervin Willard Kitt, 91, of Wauneta passed away peacefully on Jan. 25, 2009, with his wife, Joan, and family members by his side.
Ervin is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joan (Thompson) Kitt of Wauneta; daughter Candy Henning and her husband, Tom, of Lincoln; daughter Denise Janicek and her husband, Kevin, of Wauneta; son Keenan Kitt and his wife, Tina, of Wauneta; six grandchildren: Kyle Kitt of Lincoln; Mandi Janicek and her fiance Beau Kramer of Wauneta; Ashley Kitt of Lincoln; Cassandra Henning of Lincoln; Madeline Henning of Lincoln and John Kitt of Wauneta; one brother Paul Kitt of Wauneta; four sisters-in-law: Margie Shackelford and husband, Cliff, of Wauneta; Pat Kitt of Schuyler, Neb.; Lorraine Einspahr of Lincoln; and Elaine Condrun of Marion, Iowa; three brothers-in-law: Ronald Thompson of Johnson Lake, Neb.; William Pogge of Neola, Iowa; and Rodney Harvey of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 10 a.m. at the Wauneta United Methodist Church with Pastor Judy Dye officiating.
Burial will follow at Wauneta’s Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 2 to 6 p.m.
Memorials may be given in Ervin’s memory to the Wauneta United Methodist Church or the Wauneta Medical Clinic.
