Michael Dillion - October 14, 2010
Michael Dillion, age 31, formerly of Champion, Neb., passed away Friday, Oct. 8, at his home in Fort Lupton, Colo.
Michael was born Feb. 1. 1979, in Omaha, Neb. to Sandra Jane (White) and Gary William Dillion.
During his childhood Michael could always be found constructing forts in the backyard or building something out of cardboard.
He moved to Champion in 1991 with his family after his mother married.
Michael spent most of his teen years helping around the Kent Yaw farm where he learned the value of a hard day’s work. He often spoke about how those younger years helped him to discover his passion for horses and cattle ranching.
Michael is survived by a son, Colby, of Holdrege; daughter, Sheyanne, of North Platte; brother, Jesse Dillion, and wife, Renee, of Westminster, Colo.; sisters, Tammy Edyvear and husband, Douglas, of Watertown, Wisc., Patricia Dillion of Evergreen, Colo. and Lindy Way of Cheyenne, Wyo; grandma, Wyona White of Imperial; uncle, Bill White and wife, Kim, of Champion; nieces, Brenda Way, Angeliece Dillion, Grace Edyvean, Kyla Dillion and Olivia Edyvean; nephews, Colton Dillion and Elijah Edyvean; cousins, Lacey, Lance and Logan White and Lindsey Norman.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Way; uncle, Carrl White and grandfather, Jim White.
Memorial services for Michael will be held Saturday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. at the VFW Hall in Imperial.
Memorials can be made the day of the services.
