Maurice L. Wheeler, 71 died Sunday, July 18, 2010, at the Mitchell Care Center. He was born March 19, 1939 in Imperial.
Survivors include wife Karen of Mitchell; daughters, Kathy Wheeler and Debbie Wheeler both of Pheonix, Ariz. and Becky Villa of Texas; stepchildren, Jerry Hall Jr. of Mitchell and Lealand (Sue) Hall of Gering; sisters, Blanche Smith of Imperial; Esteleine Jordan and Mary (Bud) Williams all of Oklahoma City, Okla; Veda Pope of Ft. Morgan, Colo. and Maralyn Pope of California; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 22.
