Leta Brethower - July 15, 2010

Leta Fern Brethower, 92, of Meadowlakes, Texas died July 5, 2010. Born Sept. 14, 1917 in Imperial, Neb., Leta was the daughter of Earl and Emma (Smith) Goddard.
Leta and her husband owned and operated Jack & Jill Grocery Store in Imperial, Neb. for many, many years.
Leta is survived by her husband, Melvin Lee Brethower of Meadowlakes; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Julia Brethower of Rio Verde, Arizona; grandsons, Mick Brethower and wife, Debbie, of Georgetown, Texas, and Lane Andrew and wife, Joyce, of Lakewood, Colo.; granddaughters, Tamera Brethower of Mesa, Ariz., Lisa Jensen and husband, Nate, and Lindsay Andrew, both of Lakewood, Colo.; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Dee.
Memorial service was held Monday, July 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel.
