Darlene P. Busher - August 27, 2009


Darlene Pearl Fowler (Glee) Busher passed away Aug. 20, 2009, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colo.
She was born Sept. 21, 1923, in Hayes Center, Neb.
Following high school, she married and was a farm wife for 12 years, then moved to Flint, Mich. and worked for General Motors. Upon moving to Colorado in 1957, she lived in Littleton and Broomfield. After remarrying, she lived and volunteered in Greeley, Colo. for many years.
Following her husband’s retirement, they lived in their motorhome while wintering in Apache Junction, Ariz. and summering in Oregon and Greeley. Most recently, she resided at the Eden Valley Living Center west of Loveland, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Busher, in November, 2000.
She leaves to mourn two sons, Donald L. Fowler and wife, Patricia, of Centennial, Colo. and Duane M. Fowler and wife, Marcia, of Imperial; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She also leaves behind one brother, Lyle Glee and his wife, Ruby, of Galata, Mont.

Graveside services and burial were held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Ave., Denver, Colo., on Aug. 25, 2009.
