Imperial Credit Union has been established at 517 Broadway for 10 years, so it’s time for a celebration. From Aug. 3-7 the branch of the Holyoke (Colo.) Credit Union will have daily refreshments and free giveaways for the public.
Also, persons may sign up for door prizes all week.
Imperial Credit Union was opened Aug. 5, 1999 with Cindy Balsom as manager. She was succeeded by Teri Spady in March of 2000.
Spady, now a vice president, said there are about 800 active members in the Imperial branch. Earnings are returned to the members in the form of dividends, higher savings rates, lower loan rates and improved services, according to the Credit Union brochure.
The Credit Union provides passbook savings, money market accounts, life savings insurance, debit cards, certificates of deposit, on-line banking, free bill pay, an ATM machine and more.
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information may be found at
