Talent contest announces trip prize locations PDF Print E-mail

The deadline is approaching for the “Got Talent?” contest at the Chase County Fair. The deadline to apply is Aug. 10, with the contest to be held Aug. 13.
Sponsored by 102.9 KADL, High Plains Radio and Chase County Fair, the contest will award cash prizes, plus a trip for two to the top winner.
The talent show is open to all ages, and “anything goes,” according to Sue Moore of KADL Radio. Pet acts, singing, instrumentals, dancing and any other acts will be accepted. There are no age or type categories.
The first place winner will receive $500 and a trip for two to one of the following locations: Albuquerque, NM; Branson, Mo.; Breckenridge, Colo.; Grand Canyon; Las Vegas, Nev.; New Orleans, La.; Orlando/Daytona, Fla.; San Diego, Calif., and St. Louis, Mo.
The second place winner will take home $300, and the third place winner will receive $200.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it . After an e-mail is received by High Plains, it will either e-mail or mail a registration form back to the contestant.
The contest begins at 1 p.m. Aug. 13 in the open air auditorium. Contestants are asked to be ready to go by 12:30 p.m. They must provide a CD of their music. Performances are limited to three minutes.
The Chase County Schools 9th Street Singers will perform during the contest.
