Wallace man wins another $20,000 Powerball prize PDF Print E-mail

As if a million dollar prize wasn’t enough.
Scott Leatherman of Wallace raked in an additional $20,000 in another Nebraska Powerball drawing, just two weeks after he won $1 million.
In both cases, Leatherman purchased the Power Play option, which added more money to both Powerball prizes.
For the June 20 million dollar Powerball drawing, one of Leatherman’s nine quick pick tickets matched all five of the winning white ball numbers for a $200,000 prize. Because he added the $1 Power Play option, that $200,000 prize was automatically multiplied five times.
On July 8, another Powerball with Power Play ticket of his turned out to be worth $10,000 initially after it matched four of the five winning white ball numbers and the Powerball number. He also purchased the $1 Power Play on that ticket, which doubled his winnings to $20,000.
He purchased both of his winning tickets at Ozzie’s in Sutherland.
Leatherman plans to pay bills and remodel his home with his winnings.
