The end-of-season tournament will conclude Imperial’s Little League boys’ baseball season next week at Schroeder Park.
First round games will be played Monday at 7:30 p.m., with the 7:30 p.m. championship and 5:30 p.m. consolation games on Wednesday.
Three teams ended the regular season the past week with 5-4 records, so the tournament seeding had to be determined by runs allowed by those three teams in the nine regular season games.
Bruce Peterson’s Red team had the fewest runs allowed at 32, so earned the top seed.
Jeff Wallin’s Blue team is the No. 2 seed (39 runs allowed), while Gregg Smith’s Black team (45 runs allowed) is No. 3.
Seeded fourth is Brad Dillan’s Green team with a 3-6 record.
It was a competitive Little League regular season, with 10 of the 18 games decided by two runs or less.
