An open house and double ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the new location of two businesses in Imperial Friday.
Exceptional Prints by Champa Group LLC is opening an office in Imperial in the Platinum T-Shirts & Embroidery building at 410 Broadway. Owner Dianne Way moved Platinum from North Broadway to the new location the first part of September.
The ribbon-cutting ceremonies for both businesses will be held by the Imperial Chamber of Commerce at 9 a.m. Friday.
A lunch will be served to the public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the site.
Exceptional Prints in Imperial will be staffed by Samie Johnson of Champion. She said the business provides photo prints and reprints, canvas pictures, banners, posters, graphic design, website design and business stationery and cards.
Exceptional Prints has been in business for eight years, with a location in Wauneta at 130 N. Tecumseh Ave. It is under the ownership of Rod Kaiser and Champa Group, which has been in business for over 10 years, Johnson said.
Other employees include Monica Burke and Brooklyn Nordhausen.
The Imperial office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Platinum T-Shirts & Embroidery moved to the larger store from 1614 Broadway. The business provides a wide variety of clothing and other items that may be embroidered with school or business names.
Platinum is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturdays.
