Teachers revel in Halloween, too PDF Print E-mail

The teaching and support staff at Chase County Schools seem to have as much fun as the students do each year at Halloween. A number of creative costumes were sported by the staff again this year at last week’s costume parade. The second grade teachers, above from left, Kim Bubak, Kim Spady and Brandi Dannatt, represent “rock, paper, scissors” in their getups. Below left, first grade teacher Shasta Hilker was one of several staff members depicting the Minions, those single-celled, yellow organisms with the infectious laughs from the popular movie of the same name. She’s escorting Hunter Clark around the gym in the parade. Many may have thought third grade teacher Drew Ahlers didn’t wear a costume. That’s until he popped open his shirt revealing his Superman costume.
