This month, Nebraska U.S. Sen. Deb Fischer is holding listening sessions in 13 communities across the state.
On Monday, one of those stops will be in Imperial.
From 2 to 3 p.m., she will be at the Imperial Community Center at 900 Wellington St., for a public forum.
According to a press release from her Washington D.C. office, these forums are opportunities for Nebraskans to share their views and speak with Sen. Fischer in a more informal setting about their questions and concerns.
Starting Aug. 10 in Omaha, Sen. Fischer has already conducted forums in Lincoln, Wayne, Ainsworth, Chadron and Alliance.
This Friday, she will be in Scottsbluff and Sidney. After her Imperial stop Monday, the senator plans to be in McCook, North Platte, Broken Bow and Beatrice.
