Now’s the time to begin planning which photos you’d like to enter in the annual Chase County Fair’s open photo contest sponsored by Fine Things Jewelry and Gifts in Imperial and Exceptional Prints by Champa Group LLC in Wauneta.
This year’s contest has three categories: 1) Kickin’ Up Country; 2) Black and White and 3) Your Furry Friends.
The contest is open to all non-professional photographers. Entrants are limited to one entry per category.

Mats are available for purchase at Exceptional Prints by Champa Group, LLC and the Wauneta Breeze in Wauneta. They are also available for purchase at Adams Drug and the Imperial Republican in Imperial.
Entry forms can be downloaded online at under the “See & Do” tab, then Contest and then Photo Contest. Forms will also be available at Fine Things Jewelry & Gifts in Imperial and Champa Group in Wauneta.
Entries should be delivered to Fine Things Jewelry & Gifts or Champa Group by Monday, July 27.
Winners will be announced in the Aug. 6 issues of The Imperial Republican and Wauneta Breeze.
