Gardeners go to work PDF Print E-mail

The newly-formed Green Thumbuddies garden club has been busy in Imperial. Last week members planted a display at the Chase County Fairgrounds. Helping were, from left, Laura Gaschler, Lori Owens and Manet Brown. The group was organized not only to share gardening experiences and to provide programs for education, but to beautify areas in Imperial. Other sites planted so far include the Lied Imperial Public Library and the city park. All interested persons are welcome to join. The next meeting will be held July 20 at 7 p.m. at the library. For more information contact Gaschler at 308-414-1055. (Republican photo)
