Sprint cars coming to Holyoke PDF Print E-mail

Sprint cars will join the regular IMCA divisions for an action-packed show at Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke, Colo., this Friday and Saturday.
Blood Sweat and Tears’ Colorado Alliance Mod/Stock Tour will liven up the action.
Race fans can also look forward to the IMCA division races including modifieds, sport mods, stock cars, hobbies and compacts.
Two-day racing weekends are incorporated into this year’s schedule at PCR, with future races set for June 12-13, July 10 (Saturday, July 11, races have been canceled) and Aug. 7-8.
Fans will want to mark their calendars for the BST, PCR championships for all divisions Sunday, Aug. 30. NAS–CAR driver Kenny Schrader will also be on hand for the NASCAR Night at the raceway.
A crash ’em up, bang ’em up demo derby, as well as freestyle motorcycle riders, have been added to the raceway schedule for Friday, Sept. 11.
The season got underway with April 11-12 races, and organizers hope that weather cooperates this season for completing races as planned.
A new P.A. system for the grandstands, arena and pits has been installed at Phillips County Raceway, and portable lights have also been added to the track for better lighting.
