Spring means not only high school graduation but college graduation. The Imperial area has its share of college grads.
Daniel Regier
Daniel Regier, son of Sherryn and Keith Regier, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Chadron State College May 9 with a Bachelor of Science degree in human biology.
The 2011 Chase County Schools graduate will attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center in August under the RHOP program to become a doctor.

Brandi Confer, a 2011 Dundy County High School graduate, received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Chadron State College May 9.
The daughter of Rick Confer of Benkelman and Shanley Confer of Hastings has been hired to teach second grade at Chase County Schools.

Michael Smith, son of Ann and Mike Smith, received an Associate of Science degree in occupational therapy from Darton State College in Albany, GA in December.
The 2011 Lee County (Leesburg, Ga.) High School is a certified occupational therapist with Creative Therapy of North Platte, which provides occupational therapy in the Chase County area.

Paul Gaschler, son of Laura and Tom Gaschler, graduated from Concordia University in Seward May 9 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with an emphasis on composing.
The 2011 Chase County Schools graduate will continue his education at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Lisa Jean Krutsinger
Lisa Krutsinger, a kindergarten teacher at Chase County Schools for six years, obtained her Masters of Education degree from Concordia University in Seward May 9.
The wife of Kriss Krutsinger, she graduated from Kearney State College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Education degree in elementary education and special education.
