The American Red Cross Bloodmobile held at Chase County Schools March 26 reached the goal of 87 units of blood and then some.  A total of 90 units were collected, 10 of which were double red.
School Nurse Angie Paisley said there were five new donors, four of which were students and one a staff member.
“We had a great day. It ran smoothly,” she said of the bloodmobile.
This is the last bloodmobile held by students this year. Earning scholarship money for their participation were Kelton Fisher, Isaac Sorensen, Mindy Castle and Emma Mollendor.
The next bloodmobile to be held in Imperial is scheduled for May 21 at the Imperial Bible Church.
