Frenchman Valley Coop buys Steggs Aerial Spraying, Inc. PDF Print E-mail

Frenchman Valley Coop (FVC) announced Tuesday its purchase of Steggs Aerial Spraying, Inc., to enhance agronomy services to patrons in the trade territory.
“FVC is excited to add Steggs’ exceptionally knowledgeable employee group to its team as well as the services they provide in Holyoke, Imperial and the surrounding areas,” said Doug Ohlson, FVC general manager.
“After over 35 years of owning and operating our aerial application business in the Imperial and Holyoke area, we are very pleased to be able to transition what we built into the hands of local ownership,” said Jeff Steggs.
“Frenchman Valley Coop will prove to be an excellent successor to what we began,” he added.
“The addition of aerial application services to the Frenchman Valley Coop agronomy portfolio is very exciting.  Our company will strive to maintain and build on the level of service and integrity developed by the Steggs family over their long history of aerial application services in western Nebraska and northeastern Colorado. To reach this agreement is very satisfying indeed,” Ohlson said.
Founded in 1912, FVC has 25 locations serving patrons in southwest Nebraska, northwest Kansas, the Nebraska Panhandle, northeast Colorado and Wyoming. FVC provides services in agronomy, feed, grain, member services, petroleum and grain procurement.
More on the business sale and acquisition will be reviewed in a later story.
