The boyfriend did it! Those attending the Lied Imperial Public Library’s interactive murder mystery “Pasta, Passion & Pistols” Friday night dug the murderer’s identity out of the suspects.
Sixty people attended the play, sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The play was centered around the murder of Pepi Roni, the owner of a family-owned restaurant in Little Italy in New York.
The murderer turned out to be Bo Jalais, played by Don Newman. He was the boyfriend of Pepi Roni’s daughter Angel Roni, portrayed by Nichole Welsh.
This is the second year the Friends have sponsored an interactive mystery, where those attending ask questions of the cast and solve the mystery.
“I think everyone enjoyed themselves and definitely got their money’s worth,” Friends president Joan Wenzlick noted.
Money raised from the $5 admission will be used to benefit the library.
