Let your Lego imagination be limitless

Are your children tired of being cooped up inside during the cold winter afternoons? The Lied Imperial Public Library is hosting “Lego @ the Library” the first and third Tuesdays of each month after school.
Children ages 5-12 will be challenged to build whatever they want to in an hour’s time, between 4-5:15 p.m.
The children can partner with someone else or build something by themselves. Parents are also invited to attend.
The finished structures will be displayed at the library for awhile, and will then be recycled back into other projects.
Library Director Beth Falla said the library received a $400 grant from the Republican Valley Library System for the project.
In addition, more Legos and how-to books will be purchased in the future using Charlie Leibbrandt memorial money, Falla said.
Lego @ the Library will begin Jan. 20. Falla said the meeting time can be changed as required.
