Slice Fore Life events to kick off new fund-raising effort PDF Print E-mail
The second annual “Slice FORE Life” golf benefit and charity auction to be held on Saturday, June 13, at the Enders Lake Golf Course will serve as the kick-off for the Chase County Hospital Foundation’s newest effort, “Campaign for Life.”
“Campaign for Life aims to raise awareness and funds for the Chase County Community Hospital Healthcare System. Specific focus will be on the areas of digital mammography and advanced urology,” according to Randy Vlasin, Executive Director of the Chase County Hospital Foundation.
“Grants will be sought for these areas as well as private support. We are committed to bringing these services to Chase County so residents won’t have to travel 200 miles or more to receive them,” he said.
The Slice Fore Life golf benefit also will feature a charity auction after the golfing is over and will take place in the dining area of the Enders Lake Golf Course. The auction will start at approximately 7 p.m. (this time may vary based on how long the golfing portion of the day goes.)
“We have some really nice items for auction and encourage the public to attend,” said Vlasin.
As of Tuesday, there was still room for three more teams. If you are interested in putting a team in Slice Fore Life four-person scramble, cost is $300 per team of four.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. If you would like to take part in the Slice Fore Life Benefit or need more information, contact Randy Vlasin at 308-882-7379, or email him at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
