People who are busy with Christmas preparations and need a break this Sunday don’t have to go far.
The freshman class at Chase County Schools (Class of 2018) has fun and food available this Sunday. Christmas hayrack rides and a soup supper will center at the Imperial Zion Lutheran Church.
Activities are from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Hayrack rides will take people around the community to look at Christmas lights. A soup supper with chili, chicken noodle soup and dessert will be available inside the church fellowship area.
A package deal for $10 includes one ride, cup of hot chocolate and a meal. People can also do the ride only or eat at the soup supper without a ride for $5, said organizers. A family deal is also available.
Kids under age two are free and all youths under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
